Who/What We Say Good-Bye to

Saying good-bye is a piece of cake when you leave something that is transient in your life, or leave behind a person who plays very trivial part at the stage and in the limelight of your life. However, saying good-bye is always difficult when you (have to) just drop something you got used to, something you love being occupied with or something that gives you positive emotions.
Needless to say that saying good-bye to the person you love be it the member of your family of your impossible-to-get-over lover – these situations equal something horrible, it's as if you are leaving but a part of you is staying in that very person irrespective of your will or intention to take everything with you.
So what are the things and people we often let go up in smoke of our merciless ignorance or bitter inability to bear? They are our job (favourite or loathsome), youth (inevitable process which some people are awfully afraid of), family (natural or tragic), health (aging or accidents)...
Sometimes we say good-bye to or let go of our friends or lovers, leave our Motherland or freedom behind for these or those well-justified reasons... There are people who masochistically or unintentionally say good-bye to happiness, some say good-bye to sex...
We may cry when we say good-bye or we may stay sad for some time. We may say good-bye to something or someone with light heart instead. Irrespective of our feelings saying good-bye has its own secret power which – if the case is serious – works wonders with your behaviour and outlook.
