article:
Good-Bye to Freedom

In order to easily dwell upon the issue of saying good-bye to one's freedom we should first of all think over what the notion of freedom implies for each and everyone of us for sometimes it seems that so many people so many views on freedom there are.
To some people freedom is their own personal realization of their independence on other people, their trivial responsibilities which don't tie them to certain circumstances or duties. Others' understanding of freedom is more tied to material, pragmatic side of life and equals financial independence. There are people who understand the concept of freedom literally and connect it with freedom of their movements and actions they usually perform.
In this respect we can make a conclusion that to some people saying good-bye to freedom means getting married or just getting involved in things which imply being responsible for something or somebody – as a rule these people are just too carefree to say good-bye to their free freedom.
Others would call saying good-bye to freedom saying good-bye to their financial stability and material independence from anyone which is also a painful and hard experience for people who got used to being financially independent. There are people to whom saying good-bye to freedom means being put into jail or experiencing anything that may prevent them from moving freely in their usual space.
As you can see, many people understand saying good-bye to freedom in many different ways. Some of these ways seem too far-fetched (getting married), others are indeed very serious (being put into jail). In our view, a person is free for as long as he or she feels harmony within himself/herself and enjoys peace of mind.
