Good-Bye to Family

Saying good-bye to the family is always difficult, especially when we speak of families where love, respect and trust are well-cherished. We can say good-bye to our family for many reasons and under different circumstances which scarcely prompt harmony or peace of mind.
For instance, kids say good-bye to their parents when they leave for college and are mature enough to leave the house where they spent their childhood. Both sides – parents and children realize that everybody goes through this stage of life but it's still hard to say good-bye with the closest people even though you know that your independent future awaits you and your parents are safe and sound and you will always stay in touch.
Another example of saying good-bye to one's family is when marriages break. Reasons for this are various, while the feeling is always similar – the loss of something that has been built carefully and attentively, with lover and care, gentleness and huge expectations implying its unbreakeability which eventually crash and burn.
People say good-bye to family when members of their family pass away. This is the hardest because we cannot confront death or fight with it, we cannot influence it, in other words we are totally powerless here – another evidence of the concept of the power of good-bye and its influence on people.
